Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry of the Evangelical Church of Papua New Guinea (ECPNG) is committed to nurturing and empowering young people to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ and future leaders of the church and society. Through discipleship, fellowship, worship, and service, the ministry seeks to help young people develop a strong foundation in their faith and grow in their relationship with God.
Since the early years of ECPNG, young people have played an important role in the life and mission of the church. Through youth fellowships, evangelistic outreach, community service, and leadership opportunities, they have actively contributed to the growth and vitality of local congregations across Papua New Guinea.
The Youth Ministry provides a supportive environment where young people can learn God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, discover their gifts and talents, and develop leadership skills. Activities include Bible studies, youth conferences, camps, worship events, discipleship programs, sports activities, and community outreach initiatives.
Recognizing the challenges faced by today’s generation, ECPNG Youth Ministry seeks to guide young people in making wise decisions, living with integrity, and remaining steadfast in their faith. The ministry encourages youth to be positive influences in their families, schools, workplaces, and communities while boldly sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As ECPNG celebrates its 60th Diamond Jubilee, the church gives thanks for the many young men and women who have faithfully served and contributed to its mission throughout the years. Looking ahead, the Youth Ministry remains committed to raising a generation of Christ-centered leaders who will continue to advance God’s Kingdom in Papua New Guinea and beyond.
