Sunday school Ministries

The Sunday School Ministry of the Evangelical Church of Papua New Guinea (ECPNG) is dedicated to teaching children the Word of God and helping them develop a strong foundation of faith from an early age. Through biblical instruction, worship, prayer, and interactive learning, the ministry seeks to nurture children in their spiritual growth and guide them toward a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

Since the early days of ECPNG, Sunday School has been an important part of the church’s ministry, providing children with opportunities to learn about God’s love, His Word, and Christian values in a caring and supportive environment. Faithful teachers and volunteers have played a significant role in shaping the spiritual lives of generations of children across Papua New Guinea.

The Sunday School Ministry focuses on teaching Bible lessons, Christian character, prayer, worship, and practical life values through age-appropriate programs and activities. Children are encouraged to grow in their understanding of God, build strong friendships, and develop a heart for serving others.

In addition to weekly classes, the ministry organizes special programs, children’s events, camps, and outreach activities that help strengthen faith and promote spiritual development. Parents and guardians are also encouraged to partner with the church in guiding children in their Christian journey.

As ECPNG celebrates its 60th Diamond Jubilee, the church gives thanks for the many dedicated Sunday School teachers, leaders, and children who have been part of this important ministry. Looking to the future, ECPNG remains committed to investing in the next generation by teaching God’s Word and raising children to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
