ECPNG Education Ministry
Education has been an important part of the mission and ministry of the Evangelical Church of Papua New Guinea (ECPNG) since its early beginnings. Recognizing that education plays a vital role in transforming lives and communities, ECPNG has actively supported the establishment and development of schools throughout Papua New Guinea.
From the early years of missionary work, the church promoted literacy and basic education alongside the teaching of God’s Word. This commitment helped many people gain access to education, develop essential skills, and improve their quality of life. Over the decades, ECPNG has partnered with local communities, government agencies, and mission organizations to establish and manage educational institutions that serve both church members and the wider public.
Today, ECPNG continues to contribute to the education sector through its schools, educational programs, and community initiatives. The church remains committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and morally, preparing future generations to become responsible leaders and positive contributors to society.
As ECPNG celebrates its 60th Diamond Jubilee, the church gives thanks to God for the many teachers, missionaries, church leaders, and supporters who have faithfully invested in education. Looking ahead, ECPNG remains dedicated to strengthening educational opportunities and empowering individuals through knowledge, faith, and service.
